Located west of Darrington at the foot of beautiful Whitehorse Mountain, we are 4 generations lovingly producing on this land. We run over 20 acres of pasture and grow hay on close to 200 more acres.
Sweet-Lee Farm started with two high school agri-science projects that complimented each other from two young FFA members who shared a dream of farming and family. Robert grew up driving tractors and producing hay; Jessica raised sheep, chickens and horses. After working on other local farms, Robert and Jessica started expanding their own operation as their love of these pursuits blossomed Our four children also put heart and soul into the development of our farm.
Sweet-Lee farm is about producing the highest quality food in a way that will support the development of family, ecological health and community. We work to involve aspiring farmers and consumers of local foods in learning best practices and about where the most wholesome food in all of Washington is grown. We believe that the best farm is one where animals and earth are respected for the services they provide us. We are not organic, but we steward soil, wildlife, plants and water to create a naturally healthy and wonderful farm that produces natural and healthy food.
